“Brew in the Lou” will showcase St. Louis’ best beer, wine, spirits, coffee and good eats. Proceeds benefit the Lutheran Elementary School Association’s 35 member schools serving 8,800 students.
Festivities include live entertainment, arts and craft vendors, the “People’s Choice” Home Brew Competition, Bratwurst and Chili Contest, and special food exhibits. Vendors will be on-site conducting product sampling and selling their wares.
If you are a home brewer, than you may want to register for the sanctioned Beer Judging Certification Program (BJCP) competition with the winners announced at the Brew in the Lou festival on October 13th. This is a separate event from the people's choice that happens at the festival. Registration for the competition is open now and entries will be accepted starting on 9/17. Like any successful competition we will need judges and stewards as well. We have two judging sessions scheduled at Square One Brewery on 10/8 and 10/11 at 6pm. Register here as a participant, judge, or steward. We are limiting this to 150 entries, so register quickly. Cheers!
Wristbands are $40 in advance and $50 the day of the event. Wristbands are held at the North and South registration tables and are all-inclusive of beer, home brew, spirits, wine and coffee tastings; and a commemorative glass. CLICK HERE TO GET YOUR WRISTBAND. Note, online registration closes at 12 noon on Friday, October 12. Phone purchases are available through 3 pm on Friday by calling 314-200-0799.
Rain or shine event. No refunds.
