Cooking For Kids 2020

Café Napoli’s Tony Pietoso is teaming up in the kitchen to support Lutheran schools in the St. Louis area,  Tony Pietoso, Lutheran school alumnus and owner of Café Napoli, will headline the St. Louis-based Lutheran Elementary School Association’s 16th Annual "Cooking for Kids" Dinner-Auction, Saturday, April 18, 2020 from 5-10 p.m., at Orlando’s South.

Tickets are $75 and include  dinner, open bar and a bourbon tasting compliments of The Wine & Cheese Place and The St. Louis Bourbon Society.

Jim Dankenbring and Dave Drewes will emcee and serve as guest auctioneers. The evening includes a silent and live auction, a 50/50 drawing, and a scholarship appeal.

“Cooking for Kids” is LESA’s largest annual fundraising effort to support and sustain  Lutheran Christian education in the St. Louis Metro Area. Last year’s “Cooking for Kids” raised $224,000 for need-based scholarships and educational resources such as STEM programs, professional development and curriculum guides.

Since 2004, LESA has awarded more than $5.1 million in financial assistance to families of all faiths in St. Louis and southern Illinois. To help advance that mission, the Lutheran Legacy Foundation has pledged to provide a generous match for endowment gifts and pledges made in 2020.
