Lutheran Education Needs You!
Lutheran schools have been educating children in the St. Louis area since the mid-1800s. Thanks to the generosity and dedication of the St. Louis community, we can continue that mission well into the future. More than 8,800 children of all faiths attend Lutheran elementary and high schools in the St. Louis Metro Area, making it the second largest private school system in the Bi-State Region.
Founded in 2004, LESA provides educational support services to 33 member schools - including four National Blue Ribbon Schools and three National Lutheran Exemplary Schools - and five related agencies. LESA is a Recognized Service Organization of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
We invite you to continue helping children attending Lutheran elementary schools now and in the future by supporting our special events, donating to a LESA Endowment or leaving a planned gift. To learn more about LESA's Endowments, read more
As part of the planned giving program, LESA is offering “named endowments;” to donors interested in leaving a lasting legacy for future Lutheran elementary school students. These endowments are funded by individuals and foundations with a minimum gift of $25,000, the proceeds of which support student tuition assistance, educational programing, and LESA operations; their use may be designated by the donor. This $25,000 gift may be funded at one time or over a period of five years with a $5,000 annual donation. To expedite establishment of new named endowments, the Lutheran Legacy Foundation has awarded LESA a matching grant which will provide the final $5,000 gift to establish a named endowment for the next twenty (20) donors who complete the first $20,000 in named endowment gifts.
