Bruce Pompe

The Lutheran Elementary School Association (LESA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Bruce Pompe and Matthew Brickler to its Board of Directors. Their extensive leadership experience and commitment to serving the Lutheran community will strengthen LESA’s mission of supporting Christ-centered education throughout the St. Louis area.

Bruce Pompe brings decades of executive leadership and commercial real estate experience to the LESA Board. As a leader in the commercial real estate industry, he has experience in organizational leadership, developing new business opportunities, and managing client relationships and transactions. Before joining his current firm in 1985, Pompe gained extensive experience managing both downtown and suburban office properties as Director of Properties for the Michelson Organization and as Director and Vice President of Property Management for the Broadmoor Group.

Pompe has faithfully served many Lutheran organizations including Chair of the Board for Lutheran Family and Children’s Services, and as a Lutheran Foundation Director. Pompe and his wife, Kathy, are members of Pathfinder Church, have of two daughters and 4 grandchildren.

Matthew Brickler

Matthew Brickler is a lifelong member of the St. Louis Lutheran community. He and his wife, Lauren, are members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Des Peres where their daughter attends school.

Brickler is a graduate of Green Park Lutheran School and Lutheran High School South. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Maryville University. He currently serves as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Evernorth Health Services.

In addition to his professional career, Brickler has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to Lutheran ministry and education. He previously served on the Board of Directors for Lutheran Family and Children’s Services, including three years as board chair. He also serves on the Lutheran Hour Ministries Foundation Board of Trustees and as Treasurer of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School.
